Magnetize bits and screwdrivers to help screws stay on them when being installed in hard to reach areas.
- Pass the bit or screwdriver through the hole in the tool to magnetize it.
- Repeatedly pass the bit or screwdriver over the grooves on the side of the tool to demagnetize it. (Note: It may not be possible to fully demagnetize factory-magnetized tools).
