Delrin® acetal homopolymer (POM-H) sheets offer unbeatable performance, with approximately 15% greater stiffness, tensile strength, and compressive strength than acetal copolymer (POM-C) sheets. POM homopolymer is made by polymerizing a single monomer, resulting in a regular crystalline molecular structure and higher crystallinity than POM copolymer.

*Compatibility with your laser cutter may vary. Before laser cutting, consult with your machine's manufacturer to determine if Acetal Homopolymer (also know as Delrin, POM, or polyoxymethylene) is a suitable material and to ensure that all necessary safety precautions such as adequate ventilation are in place. Laser cutting any plastics including Acetal releases harmful gases that must be vented properly.
